antivirus

From now on, programs which will be installed only with the active X security warning without the user agreement will be classified as spyware. In addition, any attempts to change the system setting and to interrupt the operation will be regarded as malicious activities.

The Ministry of Information and Communication announced that it will revise the spyware classification standard befitting the current trend; the active X type program being installed without the explicit user agreement will be classified as spyware, so as to protect the internet users.

According to the recently revised standard of spyware, it is clearly defined that with the usage of window for active X warning only, user agreement has not been supposedly guaranteed, in principle.
